Francesco Clemente
I found out about Francesco Clemente after I watched the movie Great Expectations starring Gwyneth Paltrow and Ethan Hawke. This is my favorite piece. I first saw a print at a friend’s living room. It took me by surprise. A calmness about it. I concluded the woman depicted, Alba (Clemente’s wife), was in complete comfort. Sure emotions fly, but in the end she appears to be just fine. So I wanted to share this piece. Not boring at all, calming, engaging. Fine.
