Create atmosphere in your place. Avoid using fluorescent (or strong “white” ) lighting. These belong to a garage, a lab, a cubicle, having a facial. They’re probably designed to help with detailed work, or stress you out, keep you awake. Think deer in the headlights. I avoid it at all costs. When I do, I get a classic response: “Ah, wanna create some atmosphere huh?, haha and aha!”. Um, no. Not in that way. Just trying to keep it calm. There is no fire emergency, no interogetion. What’s so wrong with comfortable soft lights? Nothing. At all. Not to mention migraines. Best scenario, if I’m stuck?A blackout. Yeah, then bring the candles. Now that’s romantic. Wanna save money? You can still get “yellow” energy saving lights. So no excuse. Yup, I only use dimmers in my place. If I need to read ect., got a good reading and office lamp. Getting up, dressing up?, dinner? Ceiling lamps with stronger (a bit) lamps. I want to keep my pupils dilated. Proof: Pupils will dilate if a person sees an object of interest, or if the amount of light is lowered. Fluorescent lighting = terror. Fight or Flight.
