I stayed at a friend’s summer place the other day. Besides the obvious weekend getaway fun, taking a shower was a favorite. The place has a visitor’s bathroom with a small, open shower design, no door. Six soft ceiling spotlights and glass tile covered walls. The tiles gleamed, resembling crystal clear, handmade hard candy. Next time I visit, I’m bringing candy scent soap. I found similar tiles online, from murano glass tiles. Melting layers of Murano glass, part of the Fuoco collection. Sheets of 24K gold or platinum inserted between the glass layers.
